Objectives
The objectives of the Orphanage Home are:
1. To provide shelter for OVCs.
2. To provide primary and secondary education opportunities for resident OVCs.
3. To promote collective awareness, employ preventive strategies, provision of counselling, and provision of basic needs for the children.
4. To encourage and facilitate community based care.
5. To alleviate abject poverty and food security to OVCs by providing food packages and clothes.
6. To educate OVCs about health, political, legal, social, economic issues and their human rights.
7. To provide life skills and ensure opportunities for young girls and boys.
8. Boost their low self-esteem so that they can participate in income generating activities and thus break the pattern of vulnerability.
An Objective is a specific result that a person or system aims to achieve within a certain time and with available resources. They are like the finish line at a marathon which motivates the people to keep running and to give their best. As we aren’t running a marathon or any other competition our aims are stable and it is not our purpose to reach them in case to win a race. We intend to achieve those Objectives through a way of learning, improving and growing.
